Starting as a mechanical engineer, Martin moved into a safety, health, and environment role soon after completing his apprenticeship. Martin’s experience across Morgan Sindall group of companies ranges from special works to major projects and design. Martin is NEBOSH qualified and oversees the management of health, safety, and environment for the Construction business, championing their 100% Safe strategy. With a detailed knowledge of legislation, guidance and industry best practice, Martin supports and develops initiatives within the wider Construction Industry, notably as Vice Chair of the Construction Health & Safety Group and as an active member of industry-led mental health forums.
