Cat Goumal is Head of Education and Professional Development at the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT). She leads CIHT’s approach to continuing professional development, professional qualifications and lifelong learning, overseeing CPD policy, quality assurance and professional registration. Cat works closely with the Engineering Council UK and industry partners to ensure high standards in competence, assessment and ongoing professional practice. She has extensive experience in education, accreditation, CPD frameworks, mentoring and the design of learning pathways that support professionals throughout their careers in the built environment.
