Gill is a highly experienced HR professional who has been specialising in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for over 17 years. Gill spent a large part of her career at BT where she held a variety of HR roles, culminating in a DEI Specialist role. She then joined the Royal Academy of Engineering as Senior Manager in the DEI Team, helping engineering employers to develop tools that help increase the diversity of people employed within engineering. Following some time working as a consultant with the Employers Network for Equality & Inclusion (now Onvero), Gill joined Balfour Beatty 5 years ago as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Lead for the UK and is leading on driving forward the Value Everyone DEI strategy within the business Gill has a real passion for making a difference and creating cultures where everyone can reach their full potential and thrive.
