Approaching £1 billion turnover, McLaren is investing around £4 million over three years in the skills and rigorous systems required for project and business management, ensuring compliance with building safety legislation and demonstrating robust digital information management for all aspects of design, procurement, change control and quality control. McLaren has brought digital and data skills in house and rolled out an open and streamlined software stack. McLaren is on course for its achievement to be accredited through the emerging ISO99001 standard for Built Environment Quality Management and Building a Safer Future Champion status.

Our bespoke digital transformation sought to integrate our working systems, creating a fluid, cloud-based workflow. Working with Procore, InnDex, BidWork and SustainIQ, with all systems feeding into PowerBI, we achieved our requirements, generating maximum value from the software employed. We’ve reduced our environmental impact and can collate real-time construction data for individual projects and cross-business reporting. We’re able to decipher trends in deliverables enabling us to guarantee the highest level of quality and compliance on every project. The transformation has instigated collaborative working, and a transparency of information, it has reduced time spent on administration, promoting continual improvement and innovation.
